The focus of the image is five children. We can look closely at them and note the details. The boy on the left appears to be wearing a costume of some kind, perhaps a version of the frontiersman’s (or Native American’s) buckskin. All the children have hats on. Two of the boys are wearing overalls. Two of the children are in wagons. One wagon has “Ford” written on it. The two children in wagons are wearing heavy coats. One is wearing a scarf. All the children seem to have shoes on. None of the clothing looks terribly worn, (except what might be a tear on the pants of the boy on the left) but the clothes do not look fancy or expensive.

Then we need to find clues from areas of the image that are not the focus. For this using a grid system might be helpful.
